Nanophotonics at interfaces

Exciting new trends in nanophotonics boost the engineering of the interaction of strongly confined electromagnetic fields with atoms, molecules or biological cells. In collaboration with recognized teams proficient on the interacting objects, we currently investigate three axes at the interface with nanophotonics :

  • Molecular nanophotonics for the nanoscale control of molecular dipoles for efficient light nanosources ;
  • Quantum nanophotonics with atoms targeting quantum computing applications with atomic q-bits ;
  • Metasurface design for novel approaches to biological cells analysis
